what is a fanzine?

A zine is derived from "magazine" and is usually a self-published (and sometimes self-created) booklet with content like artwork and/or writing about a given topic. In the context of a fanzine, this usually refers to a self-published "anthology" so to speak about a certain topic whether in general or within specific media/franchise. The contents are similarly art and writing, but may also include different mediums of expression since this is ultimately a labor of love! Fanzines are also collaborative in nature!

what is the rating of this fanzine?

The main physical zine will be SFW because otherwise we will be murked. Depending on interest check results, we may have a NSFW digital side zine.

who can apply?

While this zine is SFW, contributors MUST be 18 years of age or older. This is for legal reasons and stuff. Other than that, anyone is welcome to apply and will not be judged on follower count or on previous zine experience.

will this zine be physical or digital?

It ultimately depends on the results of the interest check! We do, however, hope to produce a physical zine along with physical merch. Of course, we will also have the digital zine PDF and digital merch!

will this zine be for charity or for profit?

This is intended to be a charity zine. Contributors will ideally be compensated with a free bundle of the zine and associated merchandise. The nonprofit organization we choose to donate our proceeds to will be voted upon by the contributors of the zine. Please stay tuned!

so, are ships allowed?

They are! We ideally hope to have a representation of Mitya's relationships with other characters, either platonic or romantic. Of course, we hope to have pieces of Mitya's relationship with himself as well.

how many contributors do you plan on having?

This depends on the results of the interest check. If there is adequate interest for a physical zine and receive many applicants, we will adjust our numbers accordingly. So... let's say it won't be fully finalized until contributor application review is underway. We apologize for the inconvenience!

can i apply for multiple roles?

Yes, but please note that you will only be accepted for one role. This is to give others the opportunity to be a part of the zine! You will be selected for which app excelled the most in its category. Again, please note that social media numbers and/or "clout" will not affect your standing as an applicant. We will judge purely on the application submitted to us!
